A jazz band plays at the French Market Cafe. This is a much better place to see jazz bands than Bourbon st, which is filled with strip clubs and 3-for-1 beer bars.
You'll see why in the next pictures.
Ike was doing its best to put a damper on things : there is actually a green tabard above the transparent tarpaulin, which has been blown right up. It was raining very heavily and so I ducked into this cafe.
