Command / Service Module. The lump on the bottom is where the Command module umbilical, which connected the controls and life support to the service module. This was because the headshield of the command module could not be compromised by holes for connections. On jettisoning, this would first flip outward, and the service module would be pushed away by the maneuvering jets, seen on the side of the SM. On Apollo 13, the LM had to pull the CM clear of the damaged non-functioning service module.
