The Große Freiheit. Just out of shot on the left-hand side is a big red gate, which leads to a street where ladies of negotiable affection ply their trade. There's a big sign on the gate which says that "strictly no women are allowed inside" : which makes you wonder. No.7 is famous for being the setting of a Hans Albers film, made during the war. Hans Albers was famous for his song "The Große Freiheit 3 minutes after Midnight". That's a rather badly-painted picture of him on the wall. The film was actually made in Prague as the real Große Freiheit had been considerably modified by order of Bomber Harris, who wasn't a big fan of "Blonde Hans".
