And from the birth of the Beatles, to a (not yellow but) Red Submarine. One of the largest diesel submarines ever built. You certainly couldn't forget it ran on diesel, it REEKED of the stuff. Despite it's considerable size, it was very cramped, and the whole thing looked like some sort of plumber's nightmare. If only my old bosses at Dowty could have seen me...
