I've been on Holiday, with Her Maj, in the Netherlands. Always a dangerous prospect. I was in Zeeland for three days, which is what most UKists would consider typical Holland, all windmills, dykes (the ones that hold back water, not the ones you find in Amsterdam)
I managed to get sunburned on one day, then soaked to the skin on the next, and finally run over by bicycles on the third. Whilst buying cheese.
Which pretty much sums up Holland, really.
Still Vlissingen was fairly interesting, and seemed to be the sort of place to go if you think you'd like the nightlife in Amsterdam, but don't want to sit next to a bunch of British students boasting about how much grass they've smoked.
Her Maj, having gotten the bit between her teeth, then decided to go back to Crete for a week, leaving me here on my own.
