I was recently amazed to find that, in Germany, eggs have a serial number on them. Amazing! How do they get the chickens to do that? Do they have a printer fixed to the bottom of the nest that marks it as it goes past? I was talking to a friend about this and he says that you can also tell if the egg is fertiilized by the serial number. If it's got two on it, one is from the hen, and the other is from the rooster.
Which makes me very worried about birth control over here.
