Jack Daniels has died at the age of 92, after a two-year battle against cancer.
Jack was the first-ever apprentice at MG, and rose to be chief designer at BMC. He was largely responsible for the look of the Morris Minor and the Mini. Whilst Alec Issigonis is considered to be the father of the Mini, it was Jack who was the midwife.
Jack is remembered fondly by Snorty, especially in this cartoon.
