A huge banner has just gone up on the EMI building next to where I work.
"Gute Musik ist besser" - "Good music is better".
It's a pity they spent the last five years investing in utter shit, then, isn't it?
Because, let's face it, they owned the mechanical copyrights to some of the most influential music in the world. Music, that, despite its age, still sells in droves. Not to mention, some of the fundamental patents that drive the recording process.
Despite which, they managed to go bankrupt.
