Off to Bonn, for the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the Bundesrepublic of Germany. A tour of the Schaumburg (foam mountain) Palace reveals many interesting things, not least a very rude letter from Adenauer to one of his ministers, poised upon his desk.
But what really makes the day is the Giant Talking Head of Konrad Adenauer. This is a huge bronze sculpture of the head of the man himself, that features loudspeakers that play historic speeches by the man himself.
Sadly, not once does it yell out "ZARDOZ! ZARDOZ!! ZARDOZ!!".
