I've just been paid by CDbaby! Money! Real Money!! Really real money which you can spend on stuff! This marks the first time I've ever been paid for selling my music over the internet!
mp3.com doesn't count. All I got from them was a lousy t-shirt that said "My Music Is On www.mp3.com and all I got was this DAM T-shirt." It turned out to be prophetic. They never paid me anything, just constantly changed the rules so they didn't have to pay me. In fact, the T-shrit lasted longer than the website... They still owe me for a CD. In fact, a number of so-called payout programmes on the net still owe me money, although wild horses wouldn't drag Amazon.com's name out of me.
So, Yay CDbaby and Boo mp3.com.
