Another bloodbath, another chance for narrow-minded right-wingers to thrash around giving knee-jerk opinions on things they don't really understand.
Apparently, ego-shooters (first-person shoot-em-ups) are to blame this time.
Despite the fact that millions of people around the world play the things quite happily (me included) and have never, ever wanted to harm anyone or anything. I've charged though all the levels on various Dooms and Quakes without ever wanting to shoot someone. In fact, quite the opposite. (Although I must admit to occasionally wanting to spang a workmate with a frying-pan after the third consecutive hour of one of his lectures).
Doubtless, sooner or later they're also going to try and work porn into the equation. Which, let's face it, millions of people use in their private personal lives without going on the rampage. Because SOMEONE must be buying it, otherwise why would it all be there with prices stuck on it and everything?
What I want to know is, why doesn't anyone ever blame narrow-minded right-wing get-out-of-my-way-or-I'll-blow-you-away thinking? I mean, what sort of a person goes out and buys an Assault Rifle? Hmmmm?
